After waiting for some form of compensation for their hard work and then summarially being dumped from the Simone Super Role Model group, Simone has managed to within 2 weeks release a slew of gowns and assorted items.
Of course, not surprising we weren't offered these items, since she wasn't releasing her lines to us while we were still grouped.
IMHO Simone withheld releasing these items to keep from having to deal with an uproar from her "worker ants". Saying NO to being given another release would have brought a lot of rumbles from the peons doing her slave labor.
Again, shame on you Simone!
Are you going to distribute these items to the models?

90 models are entitled to these items into mid-July!!!

To be fair, she did gave the models her entire summer release as well as all the bridal gowns. And these releases were massive, so that is quite generous in her part. I'm not sure what happened after that coz I left.
Nevertheless, her recent massive release of gowns is not something you'd be excited about considering that they look like straight from an old catalog, or in short, quite ordinary. It is photoshop perfect, but nothing novel, nothing extraordinary.
Making clothes is clearly her forte, but thinking outside the box or becoming more creative, is not. The recent releases seem formulaic and boring. So I am just thankful that I don't have to flood my inventory nor do I have to pretend that I actually like the clothes.
One really can't look at what we did get as "quite generous," all she did was start live up to part of her end of the agreement. Even then, there was about 1/3 of the casual wear that was released while we were in the group that we didn't get.
Giving us these clothes, the ones that were released before the group folded and even the ones after, would only cost her the amount of time it takes to box up the items. In other words, it would cost her nothing to show that she is a 'good business woman' who understands how to follow a contract and it would go a long way to promote good will in the community.
Mairead, Im sorry your experience with the Simone! Design Super Role Model Contest was not a good one. With respect, I have to say you do not speak for me or my experience with the contest or with Simone. My experience has been wonderful. I have learned so much from Simone and the other models. I have made so many good friends, and they feel the same as I do. We were all given so much clothing and hair and shoes that my inventory is overflowing. When people read the negative things you have written about Simone I hope they do not believe that all of us models had the same experience as you did, because to make people think that would be dishonest. I have refrained from adding my comments because I did not want to become involved in your war against Simone because I think you will also speak horribly of us who have a different opinion. But, now, you have gone so long and so far with your vicious public attack on Simone, that I felt I just had to speak up and risk being attacked by you too. Please do not speak for me or all the other models Mair, it isnt honest and it discredits us personally when you make comments about the models being slave labor and such. You dont hurt Simone with those comments, you hurt us, the models.

Mairead obviously had a really horrible experience with Simone. She isn't alone in that experience. Not everyone will have the same interaction with this person or that person but to discount someone's experiences (experiences for which she has shown evidence and experiences obviously shared by a lot of other folks) with a trite eupehemism is complete BS.
You are allowed your different view but don't discount our experiences with an unfair tyrant because you yourself have had a different experience.
